Hypnotherapy helps us to relax, not just physically but mentally and when the mind is relaxed it can accept new information more easily than at other times. Slim people have a different attitude to food. That is why they are slim and why they remain slim.
The truth about being overweight is that you eat too many calories than the exercise you do, the excess calories are stored as fat. If it was that simple then we could all stop eating as much and get more exercise and, hey presto, we would be slim and stay slim. But that doesn’t actually happen.
It is more complicated, when we diet we feel deprived. When we feel deprived, we feel miserable and so we eat. This is because our subconscious minds have got into this habit and ‘naturally’ slim people have different habits. Imagine this, every time you want to eat something when you are not hungry you automatically, without thinking, reach for a glass of water rather than food. Now, that would help you lose weight and would keep you slim.
