Sleep deeply without the use of drugs

September 17th, 2009

Hypnosis is capable of curing even the worst cases of insomnia, of which there are many causes. Stress is a factor prevalent in insomniacs as are poor brain wave functions. Yet these are not the only reasons for insomnia. When we lay down to go to sleep our brain moves from the BETA (awake) brain waves to ALPHA. In a state of ALPHA, we are in that dreamy state and, from there, progress into DELTA and THETA brain waves which is a state of full sleep.

People who experience insomnia battle to get past the BETA state. This is where hypnosis can help as it relaxes the mind and drowns out our thoughts which keep telling us we can’t sleep.

Hypnosis doesn’t involve harmful drugs. What is does instead is regulate our brain waves so that we naturally fall asleep.

Anyone battling to get a good night’s sleep should consider hypnosis, and there a variety of self hypnosis CDs available on the market that can help. When it comes time to go to bed, set the tone for sleep. Lay back with your arms resting and eyes closed. Breathe deeply while flexing and relaxing muscles in your body from toes to head. The point is to relax the mind.

There is also the option of consulting a hypnotist who will reprogram your mind so that it relaxes when it is supposed to.

Your mind and your body will thank you for it. Your life will change on the basis of getting the rest you really need. You will feel energised, alert and refreshed.
