Connecting with yourself brings freedom

October 30th, 2009

Hypnotherapy presents lasting change to those mindsets looking for release, ultimately bringing them freedom. It is sad but true that many citizens of the world have had to endure hardships that sometimes cause people to lose focus on reality. This is called trauma.

In the case of someone who was abused at a very young age, for instance, that person obviously did nothing to deserve that kind of treatment but years later the trauma of that experience has filtered into their adult life and has defined some strong characteristics. The person believes this is who the truly are.

The opposite is also true for someone who has low self esteem, suicidal tendencies or is introverted. Everyone is born free but circumstance ultimately enslaves us. Hypnotherapy is one of the ways that people can connect with themselves to find that true strength that lies within each of us.

How are some people so successful and others not?

The story of the rich man and the poor man is one as old as civilization itself. How is it possible that two men born in the same place at the same time can have two totally different outcomes to their lives? In a simple explanation it comes down to condition. One person conditioned himself for success and the other for failure.

Now while we may feel that nobody would intentionally condition himself for failure the truth is that all over the world we see people who have done just that. Hypnotherapy is a great way to re-program a person’s belief system through hypnosis. Hypnotherapy can help people lead stronger, fuller lives.

Hypnotherapy is the way forward

October 28th, 2009

The 21st century is a technological age where we have instant access to everything. We have never had such a high standard of living before with good nutrition, skilled medical care and world travel.

The price we pay is stress at incredible levels with pressure to perform at work, at home, in relationships and all sporting activities. Technology has incredible advantages, but in general humans are paying a price that is simply too steep.

We don’t have time to relax; we are always on the run and sooner or later our body rebels. We have stress-related diseases, eating disorders, addictions and failed relationships. This all leads to our self esteem hitting the bottom of the pond. This sounds rather dreadful and depressing yet there is absolutely no reason for our lives to turn into such a shambles.

Take a helping hand

Hypnotherapy is the alternative treatment that takes a holistic approach. It doesn’t simply treat the symptoms of the problem or ailment as so many pharmaceutical drugs do. Hypnotherapy goes to the root of the problem; it opens up the subconscious mind to where the problems started. It does not matter whether you have an eating disorder, or have developed phobias.

Hypnosis works whether you need to get your self confidence back or learning how to handle chronic pain. It is time to take a step back from our technological world and start caring for our precious bodies and minds.

The answers to what ails you or the habits and behavioural patterns you need to change lie within your own mind. Hypnotherapy is the helping hand that we reach out to you. Allow yourself to live life to the fullest and be the best you can possibly be with the help of hypnotherapy.

Prevent your mind from protecting you

October 22nd, 2009

It may sound like a strange statement to make, but it is true. Your subconscious mind protects you and by doing so it can settle you into harmful behavioural patterns. To understand this you need to understand how your subconscious mind works.

The job of your subconscious mind is to protect you, no matter what, even if it has to lie to you. What it does is protect you by clamping down on emotions that can be overwhelming.

So what do you have to do to force your subconscious mind to protect you from living with negative behavioural patterns and doing things that actually harm you?

Force change

Hypnosis is the answer; through hypnosis you give your subconscious mind permission to let your conscious mind override it and make changes. Without hypnosis, your very powerful subconscious mind will not let the conscious make decisions to change destructive behaviour. The subconscious mind will fight to “protect” you at all costs. You can do this in two ways.

You can either come to us for one-on-one hypnotherapy sessions or if possible make use of our self-help option through hypnosis MP3s and CDs. Hypnosis unlocks your unconscious mind, accessing the emotions attached to the addiction or destructive behaviour.

The conscious mind can then make the change. You no longer have to be afraid of risking exposure to success or getting rid of those cigarettes you used as a comfort blanket during times of stress.

With hypnosis, we do not change the events that have lead to your unwanted behaviour. What we do is to change how you feel about what happened and teach you to let your conscious mind make the decisions.

Meditate on life

October 16th, 2009

The internet has broadened the horizons of many people with regards to many different things. One of the things that people have broadened their horizons with is spirituality and, in particular, meditation. Heralding from the east, meditation holds much fascination for many people.

Not only that, but is also has so much to offer anyone who is willing to meditate on a regular basis. However, there is one small problem, the lack of ability. It is not that you cannot meditate; it is that your lifestyle and your mind do not allow you to. This is easy to correct with the hypnosis CDs we have available for you.

Making a change

Meditation is a great way to relax deeply, dump stress and connect with yourself on a spiritual level. However, meditation can be very hard for newcomers to get the knack of. This is because, all our lives we are allowed to have minds that are undisciplined, that roam all over the place and are easily distracted.

Now, as an adult, teaching your mind to become disciplined, to shut out distractions and to become focused is quite hard. Meditative hypnosis can help you shut out any and all distractions; it will help you focus your mind on a voice or on music.

The voice that guides you through different levels of hypnosis relaxation offers you something to focus on until you can go it alone. Regular meditation has been proven to have health benefits as you are less stressed and more in tune with your body. Hypnosis can help you on your road to meditation, making it easier for you to meditate and helping you to not throw in the towel too quickly because you feel you cannot do it. Give hypnotherapy a try today.

Why is hypnosis underrated?

October 14th, 2009

It seems like everywhere you look these days, someone is making a grand claim of some sort. Stories about people who have lost weight drinking by tea or eating several bags of crisps a day are not unheard of. It’s these kinds of stories that make sceptics of us all. Therefore, when people hear that hypnotherapy helped with their weight loss or to stop smoking, they offer a sceptical comment. Hypnosis is vastly underrated, and the figures prove it.

It might surprise you to hear about the many successes that hypnosis patients have had. Millions of insomniacs, overweight patients and even cured chronic migraine sufferers and more. There are just so many ways to use this thrilling treatment, and to benefit from it!

According to the studies done by the Washington School of medicine, smokers who underwent hypnosis reported a 90.6% success rate for kicking the habit. The Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology reports that hypnosis is over 30 times as effective as other methods of weight loss. Countless scientific studies have proved time and again that hypnosis really does work.

There’s no reason not to give hypnosis a try.

Finding the right hypnotist

One of the best ways to ensure your success with hypnosis is to make use of a licensed professional. One such licensed professional is Rick Collingwood who has over a decade of experience treating problems ranging from insomnia to cancer. You can download a selection of hypnosis treatments to treat your problems from the comfort of your own home. You can overcome anything!

Hypnosis can stop the habit of nail biting

August 27th, 2009

If you are a person who has beautiful long nails, you will wonder why a person would make an appointment with a hypnotherapist to stop biting their nails.

Clients who come to us at Mind Motivations come for a variety of reasons and nail biting can become an embarrassing habit.

Nail biting is an unconscious act and on many occasions nail biters bite their nails without realising.

At home a person will sit watching television while chewing their nails. They continue to chew until they have made them so short there is nothing left to chew on. In severe cases a person will not stop chewing until their fingers are sore and bleeding.

If a person is in a position at work where their hands are on show it can be embarrassing and sometimes even detrimental to their career.

For most people a couple of sessions with a qualified hypnotherapist can be enough to stop nail biting.

Rick Collingwood is an experienced clinical hypnotist available at Mind Motivations for one to one consultations. He uses his hypnosis techniques to help his clients stop nail biting by feeling more relaxed and confident or combating their trigger situations for nail biting.

Rick uses hypnosis as a therapeutic healing treatment to stop nail biting by changing a person’s unconscious awareness to a conscious awareness.

The result for his clients is they are in control, they stop biting their nails and go out and purchase a manicure set.

If you require more information do not hesitate to contact us at Mind Motivations by email or telephone.

Learn how to stop nail biting

April 24th, 2009

Do you bite your nails? Nail biting is one of those little habits that goes mostly unseen except when you are in the act - many people barely even realise that they do it. The problem with nail biting is that the results are less than impressive.

To put it plainly, nail biting is a habit that you can control. You might not think about doing it, but you can think about changing it. It all depends on whether you really want to stop that habit and have beautiful hands and nails.

Ditch the gnawing habit

Constantly gnawing at your nails is more than what it seems like at face value. Nail biting often stems from emotional roots. Often people resort to nail biting when they are nervous, unsettled or upset. The others who gnaw do it out of pure habitual behaviour. No matter what your reasons for nail biting, hypnosis can help you. Hypnotherapy tunes into your subconscious mind to nip the habit in its roots.

If your nail biting is more than just a bad habit, hypnosis can still help. You can get down to your emotional nail biting motivation and how to divert your emotional tension to something other than biting your nails. Hypnosis is safe to use and has absolutely no side effects.

Kick that gnawing habit to the curb and take back your hands and nails through the power and help of hypnotherapy once and for all.
